A fictional steampunk tank which I designed for the [November 2011 design competition](https://web.archive.org/web/20180623204312/https://worldoftanks.com/en/news/contests/november-design-your-own-vehicle-winners/) for the massively multiplayer online game _World of Tanks_. The theme was "steampunk", and my design won the first place in the category "3D Rendered", as well as receiving the _Director's Choice Award_. The World of Tanks art director said the following:

> This is a great submission. There are a ton of wonderful details on this tank. I especially like the red light coming out through the portals and the gear where the canon comes through the turret. Additionally, the shader and render quality is fantastic. I really enjoyed the detail, depth of field renders.

The tank was modelled in [Rhinoceros 3D](https://www.rhino3d.com/). The renders were created with [V-Ray for Rhino](http://www.chaosgroup.com/en/2/vrayforrhino.html).
