Various things I like...
Photography
I like photography. I have a Canon EOS 1000D (aka Rebel XS) with a Tamron 17-50mm f/2.8 VC lens and a Tair 11a (135mm f/2.8 M42 manual focus) prime lens. With them, I have managed to take some incredibly mediocre photos.
Programming
I like programming with C++ although I am very bad at it. But anyhow I made a very slow and inefficient maze generator. See if you can solve it! (click on it for bigger version)
Below, you can see an animation of how my algorithm "grows" a maze from about 9 starting poitns.
Computer
I am currently using a $800 Lenovo laptop with an Intel Core i5 520m, ATI Mobility Radeon 5650, 4GB of DDR3 ram, 500GB hard drive, etc. Of course this is insufficient for a lot of intense 3D modeling and rendering, which is partly why I have been doing less of that lately. I hope to upgrade to a Mac Pro or a BOXX sometime, but currently I am too poor to justify such an exorbitant expenditure.
Chess
I like playing chess. However, I am so bad at it that I rarely win. I am also so bad at programming that I can't let my computer to do this boring and tedious task of chess for me.
Car
My family owns an incredibly luxurious and fast 2005 Hyundai Accent (just kidding about the luxurious and fast part). I hope to upgrade to several Porsches sometime, but at the moment I am so poor that I cannot justify such an exorbitant expenditure.
Purple Puppy
I am firmly of the opinion that purple puppies are the most wonderful things in the world and are the embodiment of the meaning of life.
