Pupple

Pupple is a concept car I designed when I was 14, winning the Outstanding Design Award in the 2008 Michelin Challenge Design. It was selected out of hundreds of international entrants to be displayed at the North American International Auto Show. The theme of the contest was safety. To achieve this, the Pupple suspends passengers inside a gimballed sphere which rotates so that external forces are least likely to cause injury. Information about the outside world is relayed through a system of cameras and screens.

The 3D model was created in Autodesk 3DS Max.

2 Second 3DS Max model

The second version has a notably different door but the rest is roughly the same.

The first two images in this blog post also show the second version, and here are two more infographics I prepared.
