Pupple rebooted
Pupple is a concept car I designed when I was 14, winning the Outstanding Design Award in the 2008 Michelin Challenge Design.
By the way, I also updated the older blog post with some more original renderings from 2007 to 2008.
I remade it! Completely made by hand with Rhinoceros 3D in 2022 (this needs to be said because right now it’s also quite trivial to remake this simple shape using AI).
Here are the renderings with Cycles:

I also 3D printed it in January 2023! It has nice ball bearings.

I was too lazy to ever paint the front and rear lights to white and red as originally intended. It doesn’t have the gimballed interior.
Compared with the expected glossy finish, I did a bad job of spray painting evenly. Oh well!

One day it disintegrated so we threw it away.
